After 20 years working for Europol, detective Wrist returns to his small hometown on the Danish West Coast. He is instantly caught up in a sinister cat and mouse game with a shadowy adversary that uses old fairytales as templates for his crimes. The case once again drags Wrist through the dark underbelly of Europe.
